Snow covers roads as Milwaukee’s DPW crews battle high winds
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- One local homeowner is spicing up his home during the pandemic while offering inspiration.
Fred Kaems says he wanted to repaint his garage for months.
With the Stay at Home order, he had extra time, so he created a mural.
Kaems says he wanted to uplift others.
"We're all connected as people, and when I started to play with some of the ideas, it was the one that just kept coming back," he said. "And it made sense to kinda speak to the fact that we are really...we're all in this together."
Fred says his mural became truer to him as people stopped by to express their feelings of gratitude and excitement.
