Davante Adams active for Packers vs. Chargers game

LOS ANGELES (CBS 58) -- The Green Bay Packers are escaping the chilly weather for some California sunshine and a match-up with the LA Chargers Sunday afternoon.

If the Green Bay Packers are going to win their 8th game in nine tries this weekend -- they'll have to do it against one of the craftiest veteran quarterbacks around.

The last time these two teams met in 2015, Rivers passed for 500 yards.

The Packers won the game then, but it wasn't easy.

This could be a shootout between Rivers and a red-hot Aaron Rodgers which may make the game a little more entertaining for fans on both sides.

There was a Packers fan party held in Los Angeles on Saturday.

"This is incredible. Anywhere you go for the Packers in an away game, it's a home game and there are very few teams that do that," said Nick Barnett, Former Packer from 2003-2010.

"I think it will be 75-25 Packers fans. That's how it was whenever we went on the road. Every extra seat was a Packers fan. That's why it's so special to play there and that's why they are the best fans in the world," said Ryan Longwell, Former Packer from 1997-2005.

You can catch the game at 3:25 p.m. right here on CBS 58 News.
