RACINE, Wis. (CBS 58) – The CBS 58 Tailgate is heading south on I-94 and stopping at undefeated Racine Horlick High School.
There’s big buzz for the Rebels, not just because they’re hosting our Tailgate Game of the Week. Horlick is 3-0 and that includes two blistering tests against Burlington and Kenosha Bradford, both Horlick wins, but by a combined ten points.
“We’ve got some outstanding speed at the skill positions and good senior leadership at those spots as well, so really our skill players have been the backbone of our team this year and our offensive line has grown really well and started playing as a unit together,” says Horlick Head Coach Brian Fletcher.
“I think we have to do what we do. I think we have to execute, we can’t have any mistakes, can’t turn the ball over and we just have to run the ball hard,” says Sawyer Schick, Horlick quarterback.
“One thing we’ve got on this team is chemistry, so everyone’s pretty good with each other. So I think that’s a big plus for us. Other than that, I think we’ve got this game,” says Stephon Chapman.
