WAUWATOSA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Harwood Place Retirement Community in Wauwatosa is celebrating mothers by honoring the tradition of home-cooked meals for Mother's Day and showcasing the culinary legacy of the community's mothers.
The residents have released a free e-book titled "Made with Love - A Tribute to Mothers." The cookbook features cherished recipes from the mothers of many residents and is available on the community's website.
Tonya Garrido, Executive Chef at Harwood Place, and Carole Kauss, a resident who contributed recipes, joined as guests on Thursday, May 4 to discuss the recipes and to even demonstrate cucumbers in sour cream, one of the featured recipes.
The book can be downloaded by clicking here.
