A Wausau police officer is dragged nearly 50 feet while trying to stop a suspected drunk driver from getting into his car.
"Stop right now! Stop right now!"
"An officer was reaching into the vehicle to try and stop him from putting the car into gear. Trying to remove the keys," said Captain Todd Beaten with the Wausau Police Department.
Officer Jason Pacey held on as long as he could but the driver managed to get away.
This all started inside a bar where the suspect, 62-year-old Bradley Latz fell and hit his head on a barstool. An ambulance was called but Latz refused to be treated. That's when witnesses say he tried to get into his car and drive away.
