WAUKESHA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Waukesha's Generac Power Systems has already been sending truckloads of generators to the southeastern United States.
A spokesman tells CBS 58 that the shipments are going anywhere that the hurricane could possibly strike.
Sometime in the next 24-hours, the company will decide whether to send a response team after the hurricane hits.
"Volunteers from throughout the company, a lot of technicians, engineering staff who really know these products inside and out. And they actually deploy in pretty primitive conditions, but they bring just van loads of parts for all kinds of generators," said Ryan Fitzgerald, Generac Spokesperson.
Those volunteers will fix generators whether they're from Generac or somewhere else.
