Jack-O-Lantern Jubilee is back with a few tricks and treats downtown
WAUKESHA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A local veteran got a nice surprise Wednesday, March 24, when a group of people showed up at his door in Waukesha carrying a giant check.
"We've been watching every penny and now all of a sudden we don't have to for -- for a month," said Navy veteran Matthew Sedlmeier.
Matthew and his family are getting their mortgage paid for them for one month.
It's a gift from Envoy Mortgage. The company is doing it to show gratitude for its customers during a financially tough time.
Matthew is an electrician and he says work has been slow.
His wife, Heather, has a new job and they're both caring for a new baby.
Now, at least for a month, the family gets to relax a bit.
