WAUKESHA, Wis. (CBS 58) – The Waukesha Water Utility (WWU) will shut down its largest well on January 2 for repairs.
According to WWU, the six-month shutdown will not impact customer’s water service or water quality.
By the end of January 2019, a temporary well and motor will be installed that will deliver half of the well’s regular capacity while it undergoes the repairs for issues like pump failures.
The well provides 3.8 million gallons of water every day.
