WAUKESHA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Waukesha plans to create two "permanent" memorials for the victims of last year's parade attack.
This video shows the temporary memorial that was set up at Veteran's Park shortly after it happened.
The parade commission wants the public to submit designs for the memorials -- one along the parade route on Main Street , and a larger one at Grede Park, which would allow people to spend more time reflecting on the tragedy.
Artists, architects or anyone with an idea should submit designs to the city by July 8.
We have information on how you can do that on our website.
