MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Tom Neumann of Drake & Associates joined us Wednesday, Aug. 12 to offer some strategies for paying down credit card debt.
Neumann discussed prioritizing debt in a household budget and using either the avalanche method, which targets the highest interest rate first, or the snowball method, which tackles the smallest balance first.
He also recommended avoiding new credit card debt when possible and building an emergency fund after balances are paid off.
