Waukesha police: 4-year-old shot in lip with BB gun when mom, uncle thought it was unloaded

WAUKESHA, Wis. (CBS 58) – Waukesha police reported a 4-year-old was shot in the lip with a BB gun his mother and uncle were playing with.
It happened at a home on Bonnie Lane on Sunday, September 29.
According to the Waukesha Police Department, the boy’s mother and uncle thought the gun was unloaded when it went off as he walked into the room.
The child was taken to a hospital for treatment.
