WAUKESHA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- By the time people make it to 90 -- if they make it to 90 -- they're usually retired.
But one 90-year-old woman recently celebrated her birthday at the McDonald's she's been working at for more than 20 years.
Verna Bauer has been working at the McDonald's on East Moreland Boulevard in Waukesha since 1998, and she's loved every minute of it.
"Oh, I like to meet the people, and the people I work with...hardly get to know them because they're in and out real fast," she laughed.
Verna also got a birthday cake and a birthday card with $90.
She and the McDonald's owner made it clear that this was a birthday party and not a retirement party.
