WAUKESHA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- In Waukesha, more support is coming for people living unsheltered.
The shelter originally created as a winter overflow shelter will now be open year-round. This is now the Sentry shelter.
It went through a tough start when a sprinkler pipe burst, and Hebron Housing Services had to delay its opening to clean up water damage in December.
The same thing happened in January, leading to another closure. But now, they're getting ready to take in more people in the summer months.
"It's a beautiful facility. It has a common kitchen space, a large living space for both individuals and families, we have laundry facilities and provide all the personal hygiene items that people need while they're here," said CEO Kathleen Fisher.
The Sentry shelter will focus on single men and women.
The Juneau House will be focused on families, and the Sienna House will be for men who need a bit more time and resources to find housing.
