WASHINGTON COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A 22-year-old Waukesha County man has died following a motorcycle accident in the Village of Richfield Monday, July 3. 

The man was driving westbound on Hubertus Road near Murray Lane around 11:49 a.m. when he failed to negotiate a sharp curve, according to the Washington County Sheriff's Office. The motorcycle left the roadway and struck several trees. 

Officials say the driver was the sole occupant on the motorcycle, and he was wearing a helmet.

Flight for Life responded, however the man died at the scene. 

The accident marks the tenth traffic fatality the sheriff's office has investigated this year.
