Watertown Catholic School campuses closed Jan. 28-29 due to flu outbreak

WATERTOWN, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Both the Saint Bernard campus and St. Henry campus of Watertown Catholic School will be closed on Tuesday and Wednesday, Jan. 28-29 due to the flu.

According to school staff, over 30 percent of the student body was not in attendance Monday, due to a high number of influenza 
A and B confirmed cases.

The closure Tuesday and Wednesday includes daycare, 3K, 4K, basketball practices, religious education classes and all outside organizations. Both campuses will be disinfected during the closure.

The school plans to reopen on Thursday, Jan. 30.  The school says students may return to school after they are fever-free for 24 hours without medication.
