Waterford man arrested for allegedly trying tie up woman

Racine County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Waterford man on September 12 after receiving a suspicious complaint in Rochester of a man approaching a woman with a rope and instructing her to place her hands behind her back.

The call was taken around 11:23 AM in the area of Case Eagle Park.

Deputies immediately saturated the area, and were able to locate a Nathaniel Aldrich traveling northbound on the bike trail from the park.

Responding deputies quickly determined that the suspect matched the description provided by the complainant and detained him in order to investigate further. Prior to this particular incident, the Sheriff’s Office was actively investigating previous complaints of a white male in the area exhibiting odd behavior. Sheriff’s deputies and investigators were actively conducting neighborhood sweeps, providing extra attention, and conducting door to door interviews with local residents, in an effort to identify the individual involved.
