Water quality advisory issued for Bradford Beach

A water quality advisory has been issued for Bradford Beach. According to the Wisconsin Beach Health website, the reason for the advisory is "rainfall" which means:

"An ongoing or recent rainfall event may increase the likelihood of unhealthy water quality conditions due to urban stormwater runoff, agricultural runoff, and/or sewage discharges. The advisory or closure is preemptive since lab results will not be immediately available."

McKinley Beach and South Shore Beach in Milwaukee County are also under water quality advisories for rainfall.

CBS 58 has reached out the City of Milwaukee Health Department for more information.
