414hypehouse MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A rather unique traffic hazard caught several drivers by surprise.
Cellphone video captured a sheep on the loose near Layton and Burnham in Milwaukee.
After a brief chase, the Milwaukee Police Department was able to capture the sheep safely near 23d and Rogers and take it over to the Milwaukee Area Domestic Animal Control Commission (MADACC) where it has been living since.
According to MADACC, the male sheep is currently on a farm with a "foster farmer" who is better equipped to take care of him.
They expect the farmer to adopt or find another home for him in the coming days.
MADACC does not know how the sheep ended up on the street.
