Washington Park to host community clean-up Saturday

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Alderman Russell W. Stamper, II is inviting residents to partake in the Washington Park Community Clean-Up and Essential Workers Celebration Lunch on Saturday, ESpt. 19.

Officials say the day will include a clean-up on Lisbon Avenue at 9:30 a.m. and the celebration lunch will begin at noon.

Additional community resources will be on-site for residents. This includes voter registration, 2020 Census completion, flu shots, blood pressure checks, and resource information from Progressive Community Health Centers and United Methodist Children's Services, according to a news release. 

The event will be at 3329 Lisbon Avenue next to Amaranth Bakery.
