Warm Weather Continues, Showers On The Way

After a few showers and even a thunderstorm overnight in Fond du Lac and Sheboygan Counties, we're seeing a lot of sunshine this morning across Southeast Wisconsin.  Temperatures are starting out closer to our normal highs for the date... in the Upper 50's.

With the sun and southwest winds today we'll see temps climb once again into the low 70s.  You'll want your sunglasses through the morning, but by noon clouds will be increasing with a few showers to follow by late afternoon and evening.

Our unseasonably warm weather continues Wednesday with highs again in the low 70s.  A storm system over the Central Plains today tracks toward Northern Wisconsin by tomorrow evening.  This track will keep us on the warm-side of the storm throughout the day.  A cold front extending south from the low pressure system moves through during tomorrow evening sending temps back closer to normal by Thursday.

Mother Nature may send a few tricks our way heading into Halloween week.  The long term forecast below shows a chunk of cold Canadian air slipping south over the great lakes by next Wednesday.  Having one or two cold snaps before Halloween is certainly par for the course... it's also what makes these warm spells this time of year that much more enjoyable.

Stay tuned... where CBS 58 Team of Meteorologists will keep you posted.
