Walker tours Black Oak Forge on National Manufacturing Day

Governor Walker continued his tour of state businesses on National Manufacturing Day.

On October 2, the governor stopped at Black Oak Forge in Juneau where he learned about black-smithing and metal art works.

Walker almost appealed to high school students about the benefits of manufacturing work.

"We're number one in manufacturing and historically have been in terms of impact on the economy us and Indiana are the top states we're also one of the fastest growing states in terms of new manufacturing jobs," Walker said.

The governor said he'll continue to visit manufacturing sites throughout the state all through the month of October.
