Vision Forward host Easter egg hunt for visually impaired children

Children who are visually impaired got a chance to fill their Easter egg baskets Saturday morning in a hunt designed just for them.

The Vision Forward Association helped them use their other senses for an Easter egg hunt.

\"We hide beeping eggs and for the kids who are visually impaired to be able to find eggs and then get eggs with candy and be able to participate just like their sited peers,\" said Kathryn Koppa, who helped organize the event.

Vision Forward said this is their third year for the beeping egg hunt and the biggest one yet.

This year they had families come all the way from Racine to participate in the egg hunt and other fun Easter activities for kids who are visually impaired.
