Vincent High School Student and her Brother Die in Fatal Street Car Racing Accident
UDPATE: The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner has released the names of the two siblings who died after allegedly street racing on Milwaukee’s Northwest side.
Lewon Pickens, 22-years-old, and Charre Sutton, 17-years-old, died after the accident.
The Milwaukee Police are investigating a double fatal accident that occurred around 10:35 PM Monday night near North 91st Street and West Rochelle Avenue.
According to the Medical Examiner’s report the two were driving approximately 75 MPH.
Witnesses to the accident tell police that the victims automobile, a 1994 Pontiac, was northbound on 91st, racing what is described as a black Camaro.
The driver apparently lost control of his car and it left the road and struck a tree. The amount of force the vehicle struck the tree at caused the vehicle to rip in half.
Sutton’s mother said she was picked up from Walgreen’s on West Good Hope Road where she worked by her brother.
A school ID card from Vincent High School with Sutton’s name on it was found in the car.
The Milwaukee Police are continuing to investigate the accident.

Both the driver, a 23-year-old male and his 17-year-old female passenger died on the scene despite the life saving efforts of Milwaukee Police and Fire Department personnel. The Milwaukee Police are continuing to investigate the accident.
