GLENDALE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A Milwaukee man appeared in court Tuesday for his role in an armed robbery and stand-off in Glendale. It happened March 13 at a Qdoba restaurant at Bayshore.

Last week, police identified one of the suspects as 18-year-old Marqavion Williams. The other is a 16-year-old female, who will not be publicly identified due to her age.

Williams is charged with four felonies and two misdemeanors, including armed robbery, false imprisonment, failure to comply, bail jumping, criminal property damage, and carrying a concealed weapon.

CBS 58 obtained body camera and security video of the incident, which included over an hour of negotiations.

Security footage shows the moment an employee checks the bathroom at closing time and finds both suspects.

The employee is pulled inside and threatened with a gun. Then, video shows suspects guiding the employee to the back office. That's where officials said the suspects ordered the employee to open a safe, which he was unable to do.

Eventually, the employees left the building when police arrived.

As police called for him to exit, security footage shows Williams briefly put his hands up near the window, before running away. That's when officers say Williams and the other suspect climbed into the ceiling.

Officers inside shot pepper balls at the ceiling to coax them out.

"We were able to hear coughing," Glendale officer, Abigail McLees, said in court Tuesday.

Officers then called Williams on the phone, and he responded via text.

"They were saying that they didn't want to hurt anyone, that they were scared," McLees said.

After more than an hour of negotiating, a Bayshore security officer saw the suspects fall from the ceiling. Officers found them in a vacant business next-door, where they were arrested.

Officers say a handgun was found in the ceiling.

"He ultimately told me that he had taken the firearm from his grandfather without his grandfather's knowledge," McLees said.

Williams was out on bail at the time for an incident last year regarding theft and underage gun possession. He'll appear in court for arraignment on May 15.
