PORT WASHINGTON, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Video shows the chaotic moments inside Tuesday night's Port Washington Common Council meeting.
Three women were detained as tensions over a data center boiled over.
Video from inside the room shows the moments leading up to the arrests, including outbursts, shouting and commotion as officers moved in.
Police say there had been several outbursts throughout the night, with people shouting at council members and other speakers. Officers say multiple warnings were given.
The disturbance escalated, according to police, when a woman was asked to leave but refused.
Officers say when they tried to escort her out, she went limp, kicked at officers, and resisted arrest. As that was happening, police say two other women intervened.
All three women were cited. Two were released at the scene and police say the third was taken to the police department because she initially refused to identify herself.
Police say no injuries were reported.
