Victim walking in Shorewood alley pistol-whipped by suspect wearing Halloween mask

SHOREWOOD, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Police are investigating after a person was pistol whipped in an alley in Shorewood Tuesday night, Oct. 20. Officials believe it's related to a similar incident that happened in Wauwatosa.

Authorities say around 10:10 p.m., the victim was walking in the alley between Olive Street and Olsen Avenue, when a small red car pulled up with four people inside.

According to police, one of the suspects armed with a gun and wearing a Halloween-style mask got out of the car and demanded the victim's property. The victim was then punched and reported being "pistol whipped" with the gun.

Authorities believe the same vehicle and suspect(s) may be related to a similar incident in Wauwatosa, which also happened Tuesday.
