Victim walking in Shorewood alley pistol-whipped by suspect wearing Halloween mask

SHOREWOOD, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Police are investigating after a person was pistol whipped in an alley in Shorewood Tuesday night, Oct. 20. Officials believe it's related to a similar incident that happened in Wauwatosa. 

Authorities say around 10:10 p.m., the victim was walking in the alley between Olive Street and Olsen Avenue, when a small red car pulled up with four people inside. 

According to police, one of the suspects armed with a gun and wearing a Halloween-style mask got out of the car and demanded the victim's property. The victim was then punched and reported being "pistol whipped" with the gun. 

Police describe the suspect with a firearm as a Black male, late teens, wearing a Halloween-style mask. The other occupants of the vehicle were described as being Black males.

Authorities believe the same vehicle and suspect(s) may be related to a similar incident in Wauwatosa, which also happened Tuesday.
