Three teens in a stolen car decided to make a stop at the Cafe Hollander in Wauwatosa early Wednesday morning. According to Wauwatosa Police, the three were in a car stolen out of Milwaukee when they were spotted by Wauwatosa officers. After a short pursuit the vehicle drove over a footbridge and crashed into the outdoor eating area of Café Hollander at the corner of W State Street and Harwood Avenue.
According to the Police, the three 15-year-old boys were taken to a local hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. One of the passengers was released to his parents after treatment. The driver and second passenger were admitted to the hospital.
Charges are pending against the trio. The Wauwatosa Police said the passengers are facing charges of joy riding. The driver is facing charges of operating a stolen vehicle, eluding a police officer and causing bodily harm
