Vegan PETA employee's "I love tofu" license plates rejected

TENNESSEE -- A PETA marketing employee was denied her vanity license plates after Tennessee Department of Motor Vehicles representatives said her request was too vulgar.

Daily News Journal reports Whitney Calk wanted to spread a pro-vegan message with her \"I love tofu\" plate.

Viral news website reports Florida, Virginia and Colorado have aldo denied similar vanity plates.
