Van plows into medical clinic in Brookfield

Scary moments for patients and staff inside Wheaton Franciscan's Heart Group clinic in Brookfield.

Around 2 p.m. Monday, a white van drove into the building, causing some extensive damage.

No condition on the driver.

Wheaton says no patients or workers were hurt.

\"It alarmed a lot of people but I would say that we have a lot of great staff here who tended to the situation and rose to the occasion and helped patients who are in the building to finish up their services and get them safely out of the building while fire and police came to asses the situation,\" said Dr. Patricia Venes.

Afternoon appointment were canceled. 

The clinic expects to be back up and running Tuesday.

Repairs were underway with an hour of the crash.
