Vacant Home Heavily Damaged by Fire Monday Morning

Milwaukee firefighters responded to a house fire in the area of N 38th and W Locust Streets around 12:50 this morning.  The Milwaukee Fire Department reports the fire was in a vacant 1-and-1/2 story vacant house.  According to authorities, there numerous points of ignition and the fire is being investigated as a case arson.  No persons were in the building and there were no injuries.  Damage is estimated at $200,000.
