MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Dr. Jeff Pothof, Chief Quality Officer with UW Health, offered his take on the latest health news when he joined us on Tuesday, May 2.
He highlighted the decline in cigarette smoking rates alongside the rise in e-cigarette use. Additionally, Dr. Pothof addressed the FDA's approval of a drug for a rare form of ALS, a study revealing that some sleep gummies may contain more melatonin than their labels indicate, the protective effects of the Mediterranean diet against diabetes and a small study examining the impact of sleeping pills on Alzheimer's proteins.
