U.S. Bank Customers can make Donations to Red Cross at ATMs

U.S. Bank customers can now make donations to the American Red Cross at all U.S. Bank ATMs to help people affected by disasters like floods in Louisiana, tornadoes in the Midwest, wildfires on the West Coast,  and countless other crises. U.S. Bank ATMs will accept contributions through September 16, 2016. All the funds will go directly to Red Cross Disaster Relief.

“We are so grateful to U.S. Bank for its ongoing support of our flood relief operations in Louisiana,” said David Staszak, chief development officer for the American Red Cross. “Funds generously donated by the general public are essential to our ability to immediately fulfill the mission of the Red Cross when disaster strikes. We appreciate their willingness to make it easy for their customers to support.”

U.S. Bank and the Red Cross established a partnership in 2012 that includes an annual commitment of $250,000 from U.S. Bank that will help the Red Cross prepare for vital disaster services. U.S. Bank continues to work closely with the Red Cross throughout the year to provide opportunities for employees to donate blood and volunteer time to the charity.

“Our country has experienced a multitude of disasters this summer and the one thing that is consistent is that the Red Cross is always there in a time of need” said Richard Davis, Chairman and CEO of U.S. Bank. “Providing people the opportunity to make a donation seamlessly at one of our ATMs across the country is an example of our dedication to giving back to our communities and putting people first. We encourage everyone to consider making a contribution to the Red Cross to help out our neighbors during these challenging times.”
