UPDATE: Waukesha PD Investigating Suspicious Death; no one in custody

On Monday, September 14 at 7:18 PM, Waukesha Police officers along with fire department personnel responded to and Unknown Problem call for service in the 400 block of Wisconsin Ave. Upon arrival, a 45-year-old male was discovered deceased inside his one bedroom apartment.
Police say the preliminary investigation appears suspicious in nature. Police are working in cooperation with the District Attorney’s Office and Medical Examiner’s Office in this investigation.
The Medical Examiner’s Office will be conducting an autopsy to determine the cause and manner of death.
There is no suspect in custody. We will release more information as it becomes available.
