UPDATE: Severe Storm Threat Ending

A morning complex of storms rolled across the state, weakening as it entered our viewing area. Most of the area was spared from major severe weather, but areas north of Milwaukee got hit a lot harder.

Numerous severe thunderstorm warnings were issued across Fond du Lac, Dodge, Sheboygan, and Washington counties this afternoon with damaging winds and heavy rainfall.  Localized flooding was also reported.  7 trees were reported down on Waupun in Fond du Lac county from a possible wet microburst.

Sinking air behind the showers and storms should create quieter conditions throughout the rest of the evening.  A few isolated showers and rumbles of thunder are possible; however, the severe weather threat has ended.
