UPDATE: Overnight Rollover Causing Issues for the Morning Commute
At 1:30 this morning an semi was traveling along I-94 SB near Rawson Ave when it lost control and ended up on its side. According to the Wisconsin Department of Transportation the driver of the semi was able to exit the vehicle.
A heavy loader tow truck is on scene and the 2 right lanes remain blocked at this time. The College Ave on ramp to I-94 southbound is also closed to help ease congestion in the area. Drivers should take advantage of the following detour, take 27th St south to Rawson and rejoin the freeway at that point.
After a closure of nearly six hours, the semi was cleared but delays are still high in the area as crews treat the roads.
