UPDATE: Multiple Dead; No 'Active Threat' after Oregon Shooting

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) —There is no active threat at Umpqua Community College in Roseburg after multiple people were shot dead.

The Oregon State Police would not confirm if someone had been detained.

At least 10 people were dead and 20 were wounded. CBS News is reporting as many as 13 people have died.  The first call about the shooting came into the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office at 10:37 a.m.

The campus is on lock down but the sheriff’s office says there is no active threat at the school.

About 3,000 students attend the college.
