UPDATE: Mount Pleasant Man Found Safe After Silver Alert

UPDATE: At 8:55 PM Van Elzen was found safe.

A silver alert has been issued by the Wisconsin Department of Justice for Richard E Van Elzen lase seen on Sunday at 1:30 PM in Mount Pleasant, WI.

Van Elzen is a white male 85-years-old with a height of 5’7” and weight of 180 pounds with grey hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a plaid green shirt and blue coat.

Van Elzen is from the Appleton area and when he has gotten lost previously he ended up driving to Appleton.

He is believed to be driving a red 2008 Chrysler Town and Country minivan with a Wisconsin license plate of 989PLG.
