Upcoming Activities in Racine & A New Neighbor

The month of May is full of activities in downtown Racine and we're shining the spotlight on them!

In honor of Armed Forces Day, the U.S. Air Force Band of Mid-America is coming to Racine. The free concert is Friday, May 15th from 11:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. at Monument Square. We give you a sneak peek of what you can expect!

Award-winning author and Racine native, David Kheridan, returns to town a couple of days later to celebrate the release of his new book. We preview the week of activities surrounding Kheridan's homecoming.

A party to unveil the Community Art Project winners wraps up the month. “Whiskey & Cigars Under The Stars” is Saturday, May 30th from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at The Johnson Foundation at Wingspread. We show you one of the winning pieces and get the lowdown on the party!

As a bonus, we're introducing you to a new neighbor. Scott Obernberger went from Criminal Defense Attorney to making pottery and he just opened a new store in downtown Racine.
