Universal Allah sentenced for supply taser used in Stradivarius robbery

MILWAUKEE -- Universal Allah was sentenced to three and a half years in prison for his part in the theft of a 300-year-old Stradivarius violin worth about six million dollars.

Prosecutors say Allah bought the taser used in the Stradivarius violin robbery. Salah Salahadyn is the man who used that taser on Concertmaster Frank Almond on January 27, 2014. Almond was struck in the wrist and chest by that taser.

Allah claimed he had no idea what Salahadyn would use the taser for. Both Frank Almond and Milwaukee County Judge Dennis Moorney did not buy that story.

Allah is out on extended supervision and cannot have any contact with Salahadyn or Almond.
