Two Women Injured in Separate Accidents

A Milwaukee woman was in critical condition last night after being struck by two vehicles while attempting to cross the street near N 58th Street and W Villard Avenue.   The accident occurred around 6:40 Tuesday evening.  According to the Milwaukee Police, the woman was crossing the street in the middle of the block when she was struck by a passing vehicle.   She then fell into the opposite lane of traffic and was then struck by a second passing vehicle.  The drivers of both vehicles remained on the scene of the accident.  The Milwaukee Fire Department treated the woman  and then transported her to a local hospital where she was listed in critical condition. 

A second car/pedestrian accident occurred around 7 PM near S 60th Street and W Holt Ave.  The MPD reports that a Milwaukee woman was crossing the street when she was struck by a vehicle.  The MFD treated her at the scene and then transported the victim to a local hospital.  Her condition was listed as serious.  The driver also remained at  the scene of the accident.
