Two teens arrested in armed carjacking in Wauwatosa

WAUWATOSA, (CBS 58) -- A 14-year-old and a 15-year-old have been arrested by Wauwatosa police following an armed carjacking near 42nd and Raymir Circle on Feb. 24.

On the evening of Feb. 23, the female victim was sitting in her car when the two subjects approached her. One pointed a handgun in the female's face and demanded her to give them the vehicle. She was driving a white Honda Odyssey. 

The female, fearing for her safety, gave her vehicle to the two subjects.

The two teens were last seen heading east on Raymir Circle.

The subjects abandoned the vehicle on 43rd and N. 65th Street and ran away after a short vehicle pursuit

One of the subjects was arrested at a residence where Wauwatosa police executed a search warrant at 6:00 a.m. on Feb. 24. The other subject was arrested at a separate location.

Both teens are now in custody at the Milwaukee County Juvenile Detention Facility and charges will be referred to the Milwaukee County District Attorney's office.
