Two squad cars collide in Fond du Lac

FOND DU LAC—The Wisconsin State Patrol is investigating after two squad cars collided in Fond du Lac.
The crash happened shortly before 9:00 p.m. Friday on Western Ave at Macy Street.
The two squad cars were responding to a call for emergency assistance from another officer.
They were operating in emergency mode when they collided at the intersection.
Both officers driving the squad cars that crashed were taken to St. Agnes Hospital.
The both suffered non-life threatening injuries and were treated and released from the hospital.
The accident remains under active investigation by the Wisconsin State Patrol.
