Two overnight shootings are being investigated by MPD

Two Milwaukee men were shot in separate incidents Wednesday night and Thursday morning. 

According to the Milwaukee Police, a 26-year-old man was shot during an on-going dispute with another individual.  The shooting occurred around 8:45 PM Wednesday at N 37th and W Wright Streets.  The victim was taken to a local hospital by a family member. 

The second shooting happened around 12:15 AM Thursday in the area of N 27th Street and W Lisbon Avenue.  According to the report, the victim, a 22-year-old man,  told Police that he was walking along the street when he was confronted by another individual.  During the confrontation he was shot.  The victim was taken to a local hospital by the Milwaukee Fire Department.  He is expected to survive his wound.

The MPD is continuing to  investigate and is searching for suspects in both shootings.
