Long streak of warm weather in Milwaukee continues

NOW: Long streak of warm weather in Milwaukee continues
NEXT:

Monday had a chilly start to the day with lows dropping into the 40s in Milwaukee and even a few areas in the upper 30s. It was tied with Saturday for the coldest low of the season so far. Our afternoon high struggled as well and only got to 60 degrees in Milwaukee with a lake breeze.

Hitting 60 in Milwaukee was important because it keeps a long warm streak of weather going. We have now experienced 130 days in a row with highs at 60 degrees or warmer. That streak is tied for the 10th longest stretch of its kind and started back on May 28th. The record streak of days at 60 or warmer is 22 days longer at 152 set just a few years ago in 2024.

We likely add on at least a week more of days to the streak with highs warming all the way into the 70s today and tomorrow. Thursday looks like the one cool day the rest of the week with highs in the low to middle 60s. Then we could get all the way to 80 by Saturday!

The warmth returning on Tuesday will bring with it some strong wind. Gusts could reach 30 mph out of the southwest before shifting to the NW the rest of the mid-week days and becoming lighter.
