Two Milwaukee Police Officers Taken to Hospital After Their Squad Was Struck

MILWAUKEE - Two police officers were taken to the hospital after their squad was stuck early this morning. A Milwaukee Police Squad SUV was involved in the serious accident at about 3:00 a.m. at the intersection of Lincoln and Windlake. The squad car was traveling east on Lincoln when the striking vehicle disregarded a red light and collided with the squad car.
Two police officers were taken to a local hospital for medical evaluation. The driver of the striking vehicle remained on the scene and was not injured. The investigation into this accident in ongoing.
