Two men injured in separate shootings

Milwaukee Police are investigating two shootings that occurred Monday night.  In each case, the victim was treated at a local hospital for injuries reported as not life threatening.

Around 8:50 PM, a 24-year-old Milwaukee man was shot while he was seated in his car near N 39th Street and W. Fond du Lac Avenue.  According to the Police, a known suspect approached the man and shot him.  The suspect then fled on foot.  The victim drove himself to a hospital to seek treatment of his wound.  

According to the Police, the suspect is still at large.

A second non-fatal shooting occurred near N 24th Street and W Kilbourn Avenue.  A 17-year-old male was walking down the street, and according to the Police, was approached by a known suspect who pulled a firearm and shot the victim.  The victim received what is described as a minor injury. 

The suspect fled on foot and is currently being sought by the MPD.
