Two late night shootings Saturday
Two shootings were reported in Milwaukee late Saturday night, in both cases, the injuries were considered non-life threatening.
According to the Milwaukee Police, a 19-year-old man was shot during a fight with a second individual. The shooting happened in the area of N 84th and W Marion Streets around 11 PM. The victim was taken to a local hospital by a friend. The Police are continuing to investigate the incident and are looking for a known suspect.
A suspect is in custody following a shooting at N 28th and W Clark Streets around midnight Saturday. According to the Milwaukee Police, a 24-year-old woman was shot during a fight. The victim was taken to a local hospital with what is described as a non-life threatening wound. The Police arrested the shooting suspect at the scene. The MPD is continuing to investigate the shooting.
