2 drivers killed after head-on collision in Dodge County
DODGE COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Dodge County Sheriff's Office has identified the victims in a double fatal car crash Friday afternoon. Both of the victims are from Waterloo. They are the fifth and sixth traffic fatalities in Dodge County this year.
According to the Sheriff's Office, 21-year-old Kaley Gray was driving an eastbound passenger car that collided head-on with the west bound pickup truck driven by 28-year-old Jose Perez-Martinez. Both Gray and Perez-Martinez died at the scene of the accident on HWY 19 in the Township of Portland.
The accident remains under investigation. According to the Dodge County Sheriff's Office, the fatal crash resulted when one of the vehicles crossed the center line while negotiating a curve in the road. Alcohol impairment is being investigated as a possible factor, but according to the Sheriff's Office, that will not be determined until tests are completed by the Medical Examiner's Office. Those test results may not be available for several weeks.

The Sheriff's Office was called out to a two-vehicle head-on collision on State Highway 19 near North Street in the Township of Portland.
It happened around 4 p.m. on Friday.
Initial investigation revealed that the crash involved an eastbound passenger car and a westbound pickup truck.
Each vehicle was occupied only be a driver, both of which were pronounced dead at the scene.
The highway was closed for roughly three hours during the investigation.
The factors leading up to the crash remain under investigation.
The identities of those involved will not be released until family is notified.
