Two dead, one wounded in Darien shooting Sunday

DARIEN, WI (CBS 58) -- Two men are dead and a woman wounded in an early morning shooting in the Walworth County Village of Darien today.

The City of Delavan Police were called to Monarch Apartments on N Walworth Street in Darien just after midnight Sunday morning.  When the officers arrived they discovered outside of the apartment building the body of a man who had died of a possible self-inflicted gunshot wound.  Inside one of the apartments the officers found the body of a second man who had died of gunshot wounds.    A third individual, a woman, was found inside the apartment.   She had been shot and was taken to an area hospital for threatment of her injury.   No other persons were hurt and the Police say there is no danger to the community.

The names of the victims are being withheld until the next of kin have been notified.
