Two beaten during Racine home robbery

Racine Police are investigating a home invasion and armed robbery where two individuals were apparently beaten with a pistol.  The incident happened around 10:50 PM Monday night in a home near Valley View and Fairview Terrace.  According to Police, three unidentified individuals attempted to rob the pair and during the robbery struck the victims with what is believed to be a pistol.  The victims received minor injuries.  One was treated and released from a local hospital, the other refused treatment.  It is undetermined what was taken during the robbery and the incident is continuing to be investigated by the Racine Police.
